Chili Cook-off a Natural Fit For Johnstone Adams

Held last Saturday, the 16th annual Chili Cook-Off, was a fun-filled family event bringing the community together to benefit the American Cancer Society. This fund-raiser, which was held at Bienville Square in Mobile, had 78 teams, including Johnstone Adams, who joined forces with other area businesses and family teams to challenge one another in a heated competition cook-off to see who would place first. “This will be a real opportunity for Johnstone Adams to give back to the community while spending time with our clients in a relaxing atmosphere”, said Head Chef Barney March. Johnstone Adams has participated in the annual chili cook-off for three years. Their recipe featured chocolate as one of the main ingredients in the chili, which was noted by judges, chili enthusiasts and samplers alike. Johnstone Adams is also involved in other philanthropies such as the annual Shrimp Cook-Off benefiting Volunteer Mobile and the annual Arthritis Walk and Health Fair.
