H. McRae Young
McRae Young joins Johnstone Adams as an experienced litigator whose thorough, strategic approach makes her a tenacious advocate. Her years at the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office fostered invaluable rapport with local judges and extensive courtroom experience, including numerous jury trials. She also worked as the Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Michael A. Youngpeter in the 13th Judicial Circuit Court of Mobile County. A 2019 graduate from the University of Mississippi School of Law, McRae served as Honor Council Chair and president of the Dean’s Leadership Council. She is a 2016 Honors Scholar graduate from Auburn University where she holds a degree in Health Services Administration with minors in Psychology and Business.
McRae prides herself in making witnesses feel comfortable testifying. Her ability to stay organized allows her to pay close attention to detail, even while working on large, complex cases.
Outside the office, McRae is passionate about local animal rescue. She enjoys spending time with her pets, caring for her plants, and painting.
